Nyloc Nuts, also known as a nylon-insert lock nuts, elastic stop nuts and polymer-insert lock nuts are a type of locknut with a fixed nylon-filled collar insert that resists turning. When a screw reaches the collar, the threads & nylon form a frictional fit, restricting movement of the screw in case of vibration. These nuts retain their locking ability up to 250 °F / 121 °C and can be reused. These nyloc nuts are available in different specifications and at affordable costs.
